Merry Christmas!

I can not believe Christmas is upon us. Wow has this year flown by. This time last year, my heart was heavy at the thought of Chris leaving shortly after for BCT and here we are. A year later. Can not believe we have been a military family for a year. What a year it has been... And yet, here we are, with hearts heavy that Chris will be leaving us again.

Chris will be deploying fairly soon, in Spring. We will be coming to GA to visit with family soon. This will be the only true time we will have to visit between his field training exercises and deployment readiness classes. This is all we have that I am willing to share. He will have an additional week off the beginning of March before he leaves. I plan on pulling the kids out of school that week to spend individualized time with their Daddy before he leaves us for a year.

I have already have had tons of people asking where he is deploying, and for the safety of all our troops I am not at the liberty to say exactly when, where or how he is reaching his destinations. So instead of giving all of ya'll the burden of having to guard your words. I will guard mine and anything I share with you will be safe to share.

We have discussed and and believe its best for our family to remain where we are while Chris deploys. Number one, we absolutely LOVE Arizona. Number Two, Jacob is THRIVING in school and this is the best he has done with his ADHD. With Chris leaving, it will be hard enough, but I refuse to uproot them and make them leave their friends yet again to move home. Number Three, I cope better and am stronger by distancing myself. Not that I don't love you all, I absolutely do, but I have to remain strong for these children. Please understand if you have not heard from me in a few days, rest assured I am doing well.

We will be sure to post more pictures. Be sure to check continiously the link below....

We love you all, Merry Christmas!!!
