Can't believe another month has came and is on its way out. Its been a busy month and seems like we are still getting back on our routine from Christmas. The kids had their 100th day of school and had to do projects for it as well. Andy made a gum ball machine poster with 100 m&m's glued to it and Jacob made a tree with 100 pieces of red french burnt peanuts glued to look like apples. It was a fun project...
Lets see, what else have we been up to? Oh, our trampoline flew away.... lol all the stakes were ripped out of the ground, ran over our tree in the back yard and flew over our neighbors house and landed three houses down across the street, feet from a brand new car...I was enjoying a bubble bath when Chris informed me to hurry and get out...So needless to say, it was crazy, the first shoes I came to were high heels... so yes, I was running down the street in jammies and high heels again (I have a common theme going there if you remember the false fire scare in Augusta). We ended up disassembling the trampoline at 11:30 at night in the middle of high winds... We probably won't be putting it back together after learning our insurance doesn't cover any damage it can cause....
Chris has been doing training since Tuesday, working twelve hour night shifts from 8-8am. He is exhausted but still comes home to shower and eat first thing in the morning and in the evening before he works, but he is required to sleep in the shop... I also got a ROUGH stomach bug so the poor guy was working while worried about me, the kids have destroyed the house and I am slowly working on that today...Oh, the car battery died because he left the headlights on, so that night he had to push the Taurus out of the way and in front of the neighbors house to get the van out of the garage.. We haven't had time to jump off the car or check to see if the battery is bad. Thank goodness we have great neighbors that understand he is stuck working till tuesday...
We are still planning on coming to GA on Presidents Day weekend... February will be a busy month and a sad one. Its our last whole month together :(
On the bright side. I have joined PWOC, which stands for Protestant Women of the Chapel. Its a weekly group of women that get together for prayer, worship and bible study. I absolutely love it. Have met some great ladies and am really excited about the bible study I have started called The Truth Project by Focus on The Family. Its very interesting to say the least.
We love you all!
