Sierra Vista (the town we are in) opened the FIRST McDonald's Drive Thru in America! How cool is that!
The drive thru window was constructed so the soldiers could order food without entering a building. Back then, according to the Fort's Commander, the soldiers were not allowed to enter an establishment while wearing their work uniform.
