He Called!

Chris got to call me today around 3:30pm... We actually got a 20 minute phone call. An extra five minutes was nice. He completed his 9 mile march and was naming all the other things that will be completed within the next 8 days. Then he will be in out processing and I should be able to speak with him more often, I hope.

He was doing well. Anxious to graduate and see the family. Its going to be a busy week for him and he's all gung ho to get on with it.

He said he had a gut feeling something wasn't right earlier this week (When Callie was in the hospital) and he said he was glad he wasn't notified of what was going on or he would have been beside himself.

He did seem a little disappointed that me and the kids won't be moving to Augusta but he was okay and accepted the fact. He said at this point he's just looking forward to seeing me at graduation, and that's all that matters to him at this moment. That works for me! :)
