We have approximately 12 weeks. I am excited about this adventure ahead of us but there is SO much to accomplish by then.... Some days are just overwhelming but I know that in the end, we will be in Hawaii and beginning to relax. But me being me and the planner I am, I am having issues not being able to plan anything ahead of time. I can't get anything ironed out and scheduled until we have paper orders in hand, which can end up being anywhere from two weeks to ten days before graduation.....
We are adjusting well to Chris being at home with us. Our sleep schedules are starting to mesh better and becoming more uniform. I was asleep by nine last night and wide awake by 5am, so needless to say, I have made progress. I used to stay up till 1am every day, so this is a fairly big change for me. The girls slept better the last two nights. They have been easily spooked at night here. Hopefully we will continue having progress with their sleep. They are homesick more than the boys.
The kids are enjoying their school. They graduate on May 22nd. which isn't that far away..Then Chris graduates a month from then hopefully...I HAVE NO TIME!
I am currently trying to prepare myself mentally for what needs to be completed now, what needs to be completed during and as soon as we move, and more importantly, I am wrapping my head around the thought of Chris being deployed by Christmas. Because more than likely, He will be. We won't know when he will be deployed until he in processes in Hawaii and is assigned to his Unit. He may deploy soon if his unit is scheduled to be deploying soon. He may get deployed immediately if his unit is already deployed, or he may be blessed and be assigned to a unit that just returned from deployment (not likely, don't count on it.)
