So Proud of Him!

Words can not express the pride I feel in my heart for him. He is doing so well. I am so thankful we had faith and he decided to follow his gut and enlist. He is so happy. I see changes in him that are wonderful and amazing. His confidence and self esteem just beam. You can see the pride he has himself.

He is top of his class and I couldn't be any more proud of him than I am today. He has had several long conversations with his SGT's and instructors. They see the LEADER I see. They see the potential in him. They see the goals he is striving for. And there is nothing more complimenting than his SGT's describing him as squared away, mature, and a Leader of the pack.

Shockingly, the patriotism that has bloomed in our hearts is indescribable. As usual, I got several Obama bashing texts yesterday. In the past, I would have chuckled and moved along with my day. But they hit a nerve. They are making fun of OUR PRESIDENT. They are making fun of HIS BOSS. They are making fun and bashing of OUR JOB SECURITY. Yes, there are plenty of things that politically I don't agree with. But I have enough respect to gladly support our President. I do not feel that bashing our current president does anything good but make yourself look badly. We as a nation should pray for our government, pray for our President, pray for congress, pray for our military and their families and pray for guidance. We are all intertwined.

His projected orders are still showing Hawaii. We are steadfast in our prayers for God's will to be done (and if it be His will to change his orders :p)
