Well, Chris has moved out. Gotta love short notice. He got a whopping 12 hours to report this morning and move into the barracks for his WTX (Warrior training exercise) It will last two weeks,well almost. He will be released next friday evening sometime. Until next friday, he is on lock down, not able to leave the company and on going field training exercises.... The kids tried to get upset and weepy today, but we have nipped that and they are fine now.
Also, he will have the laptop so that he can watch some movies instead of staring at walls, so I won't be on the internet until next week or so. He will be able to call us after all his drills until this Sunday, then he will be in the field for 7 days. With no communication (or showers)
We were planning to come home for Memorial Day weekend, but I seriously doubt we will now. He is going to want to come home, shower and veg.
This saturday I will be competing in Combat Spouse Day, so that should be fun! I will be sure to post pics of me competing with other Army wives in Army gear and rifle markmenship.
