Well we are sitting here in February... Can not believe how fast time flies...
Last weekend we were able to visit family and some friends in GA... So thankful to be able to enjoy some GREAT food and some good laughs with everyone.... AND SNOW! That was a total treat!!!!
This visit also included the kids FIRST flight... They did really well. On the way out, I was prepared with our flight "survival kit" of candy, chocolate, coloring books, crayons and a new toy each... On the way back, well I just failed in that department... They only had a toy and some gum.... And then running late through the air port, dragging them down to the end of the terminal, then being patted down by a 7 ft giant..... yeah.. I was a happy camper and they were whiney on the flight.... but we survived...
THEN we get to Phoenix and take the wrong shuttle to the parking lot and then had to walk a mile to the van with whiney kids...
But the good thing after our visits and chaotic day was that we got to visit with friends, putt putt and go out to eat in Tucson that evening..... So it was a huge success by the evening of it all...
Chris is still prepping for deployment. But more than likely his deployment will be delayed for knee surgery to remove bone spurs... He is still waiting for specific dates and appts, but at the moment thats what it looks like....
So we are just enjoying today as much as possible.... I am still trying to recoop the house from the weekend extravaganza... Laundry every where... and no motivation yet....
