YAY! I am so thankful he was able to call me again this evening. He called around 7:00pm. He had just been told that lights out would be at 7:30 tonight, so I wonder what time they plan on getting them up? Hmmmm......
I do know he said they didn't get any paperwork done yet, so no financial, insurance, Power of Attorney, nothing. He said they are two days behind and it will postpone them entering actual BCT until Wednesday or Thursday. They need to hurry up so he can get through this!
They were busy, they were fitted for uniforms and such, still had PT. Thankfully he said his knee has been great today. No problems. Thanks for all the knee prayers! He had a headache from 10:00pm last night till mid morning today, he thinks it was a caffeine withdrawal since we drink coffee, tea and sodas full of caffeine typically. I don't doubt it was. He said he feels great now!
All four children got to speak with their Daddy today and were so excited. Especially Jacob, he has struggled more than the others, but I think by him speaking to Chris, it calmed him for tonight.
He was in very high spirits, having an absolute blast and is looking forward to tomorrow. He even recited his Soldier's Creed in entirety and was very proud. I am proud of him!
